Southwest Louisiana customer's kitchen needed a full gut
SERVPRO of Glenview crews mitigated this customer's damaged home following Hurricane Laura. Photos do not tell the whole story, as one might think there was nothing wrong in the "before" picture, just because you can't SEE any damage.
But the structural integrity of the kitchen walls had been compromised, with water seeping in behind and beneath the kitchen cabinets, which all had to be removed. Insulation batting holds water, and if it is not removed, will lead to additional water and mold damage.
This customer's kitchen was gutted down to the studs and plumbing. After the dryout period, reconstruction could then begin.
