Lightning Strikes Home in Libertyville

These before and after photos are of a house fire started by a lightning strike in Libertyville. The fire started in the bedroom, and traveled down into the family room, and the kitchen. We had to perform a full demolition of the bedroom due to the damage from the fire, and smoke.  All the dry wall, and insulation had to be removed and replaced as did a portion of the floor and ceiling.

It is important to always be prepared for any type of disaster. Being prepared is really the only way to help pick up the pieces and move forward after its all said and done.
