Flooded Basement in Glenview, IL

This flooded basement in Glenview, IL was the result of a large storm that affected many homes in the area. This particular home had about 4 feet of water throughout their basement. The mitigation process included a 4-foot flood cut where SERVPRO technicians removed the lower 4 feet of the walls in the basement.

The "before" picture shows the drying process, after we removed the wet material. You can see one of our air movers in place behind the stud wall.

The "after" picture is one that may often occur after SERVPRO has completed the mitigation, since we are not contracted by all customers to complete the restoration and reconstruction. You can see the same space after rebuild - "Like it never even happened." ®
