Local cycle shop needed mitigation following flood

Heavy rains can occur spring, summer, and fall here in our corner of the Midwest. One such September storm saw such an enormous amount of rainfall in a short period of time that local storm water systems were overwhelmed. Sump pumps will end up working non-stop during storms like this and can often burn out.

SERVPRO of Glenview team members responded to call for flood mitigation at a local bicycle shop when their sump pump failed after heavy rains.

The shop had wood plank floors, including an area with a raised showroom stage, which all had to be removed due to buckling.
